Individual coaching on (personal) leadership

Personal leadership shows not only in what you do, also in who you are. It is about taking responsibility in how you react to what is happening in your world. And about making conscious choices. You can’t always influence circumstances, yet you can always influence the way you react to them. I will support you in growing your personal leadership, from a firm belief, that every person can have a constructive impact on his/her world.

My base is in Co-Active coaching in which the client is the driver in the coaching relationship and ‘doing’ is as important as the ‘being’ of client (as it is for the coach). I add my knowledge and experience in modern leadership sciences, neurosciences, Gestalt-psychotherapy, traditional Chinese medicine philosophy and Western medicine. Every year I add more tools to my tool box. This way I have an ever growing array of instruments to choose from when supporting my client in this given moment.

From a huge drive for creating a better health care, in which health care professionals each take their responsibility for caring for their patients in a way that works for all of them, I work a lot with medical doctors. I support them in getting and/or staying connected to their original drive for working in health care. I do this with AVD Coaching and with MPOWR.

 

Facilitated intervision

As I am passionate about the profession as a former general practitioner I am supporting medical doctors in training in supervision and intervision at the University of Rotterdam. I am also facilitating private groups of family physicians with intervision, accreditated by the NHG (Dutch association of Family physicians) at my office. Similarly I have worked with a group of female professors. Some groups I have supported to then continue independently. Other groups prefer to stay and have me facilitate.

Feedback: TLC-The Leadership Circle

360 degrees feedback instruments are often used in the medical world as well as in the corporate world. In one glance the results give you information about deeper layers to work on. This way in our coaching we don’t work on incremental change, but we create transformation, faster. Team coaching

I am trained in working with teams with ORSC tools (www.crrglobal.com). This method of team coaching has its origins in Process work, which is often used in conflict resolution. With this method every person in a system is called forth to take responsibility for what is happening. In service of creating authentic connection and being able to speak hard truths without hurting the relationship

We can also create a ‘team profile’ with the above mentioned ‘Leadership Circle’, which gives more insight on the deeper causes of problems in a team.
